Neil Murdoch
Neil qualified from Glasgow University in 1995, he worked in Durham in mixed practice for 3 years then in Gosforth in mixed practice for 5 years. Most recently he worked in Heaton in small animal practice for 4 and a half years before starting up his own business as Metrovets. Neil has a 5 year old rescue cat called Dennis who likes lots of attention !
Trish McDade
Trish has worked as a veterinary nurse in Gosforth for the past 13 years before coming to work for Metrovets. She has a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Daisy and two 1 year old male ferrets called Poto and Pea. Trish has a special interest in dental work, including scaling and polishing as well as preventative dental care. Trish also enjoys performing the in-house diagnostic blood tests and the microscopy work on urine and skin samples.
Leigh Graham
Leigh has worked as a veterinary receptionist in Heaton for the past 12 years before coming to work for Metrovets. She has an 8 month old West Highland White Terrier called Max and two rabbits - 7 year old Snowy and 5 year old Noah as well as a Cockatiel called Minnie. Leigh has a special interest in pet insurance and often completes claim forms to send to the insurance companies. Leigh also enjoys assisting in a nursing capacity if required.
