Out of Hours Emergency Care
When the practice is closed, emergency care is provided by Moorview Referrals, part of Inspiring Vet Care Limited.
Moorview Referrals offers first opinion emergency appointments and telephone advice where appropriate.
They provide cover:
- Weekdays: overnight from 6 pm to 8.30 am
- Weekends: 11 am on a Saturday through to 8.30 am on the Monday
- Bank Holidays: 24 hours
Clinical records from any visit to Moorview Referrals are shared with us so that your pet’s care can continue seamlessly. Moorview Referrals do not have access to clinical records kept by Metrovets.
We are not a hospital practice and do not have overnight staffing, so patients cannot be hospitalised at Metrovets overnight. We believe your pet will receive the highest standard of care through this dedicated emergency provider. Clients will be advised if they need to transfer their hospitalised pet to Moorview Referrals for ongoing overnight care.
